Additionally, ensure the policy specifies the warranty for opaque ballistic materials (body armor)—which should be 10 years—and for transparent materials (glass), which should carry a 4-year warranty.

4. Find out about their monthly production volume to assess their operational experience and response capacity. Check if they have immediate delivery.

5. Ask how they protect your information and ensure they have clear policies regarding confidentiality and document security.

6. Thoroughly research the company's technical staff. Quality armoring requires engineers specializing in ballistic design and the mounting of ballistic materials, as well as technicians trained in modern systems such as fiber optics or hybrid powertrains.

7. Request VPAM BRV certification for the complete vehicle, issued to the armoring company that manufactured the unit. Unlike a simple test sample, this certification validates the actual performance of the armored vehicle, taking into account engineering, assembly, adhesives, and workmanship. Do not rely on partial tests for your safety.

8. Ensure that the ISO 9001:2015 quality certificate is valid and directly linked to the armoring processes. Verify that the company holds an active registration with the CNS (National Security Commission), which is mandatory for armoring companies in Mexico.

9. Ensure that ballistic materials hold valid certifications issued by independent international laboratories. Both opaque materials (steel or aramids) and glazing must be backed by formal ballistic testing. Avoid materials with expired certifications, those certified by the manufacturer itself, or those lacking genuine traceability.

11. Ensure you are offered a certificate for your vehicle and receive a document validating your purchase (CNS Certificate of Authenticity).
